About the school

Governance became everyone's job. Nobody was taught it.

In three years, "AI governance" went from a research topic to a line in thousands of job descriptions. Regulation arrived — the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, national frameworks from Washington to Singapore — but education didn't. Professionals handed AI responsibility have a choice between a two-day executive seminar priced like a holiday and a master's degree priced like a car. We exist to fill the gap between them.

The London School of AI Governance teaches the discipline in compact, rigorous, self-paced courses — priced so that the person who needs the skill can buy it this afternoon, and assessed so that the certificate means something when they do.

Why London

London is where the world expects standards to come from — in law, in finance, in professional education. The school is being established as a UK company, its content is anchored in the global regulatory conversation, and its certificates are verifiable by anyone, anywhere, in seconds.

Founder & Academic Director

Willard Tan is a practitioner-academic in AI governance: Certified AI Ethics and Governance Professional (NTU/Singapore Computer Society), Certified Responsible Generative AI Governance, and a Practitioner Certificate holder in data protection. He has developed curriculum to national skills-framework standards, taught at universities across the UK, Australia, the USA and Singapore, and advises organisations on AI governance in practice. His academic background spans computer science and cyber security, business analytics, and higher-education research.

Every course carries his review signature before it is published — the school's quality framework is not outsourced.
